Carnival Day: Street Procession
Carnival procession of floats and walking tableaux from Ivor Road, Corfe Mullen to the Recreation Ground.
11:30 am Judging of Best Decorated Business Premises on Carnival route (for Dave Farnell Shield)
12 noon Decorated Floats, Walking Tableaux and Street Entertainers assemble in Albert Road
12:20 pm Entries are judged, trophies and rosettes are presented
1:00 pm Procession moves off
2:15 pm Procession arrives at the Recreation Ground
2:30 pm Selection of best Corfe Mullen entries for the 'Cyril Dale' Shield.
Entries are invited in the following classes:
A) PRIMARY Float (age 6 and under)
B) JUNIOR Float (age 7 - 10)
C) INTERMEDIATE Float (age 11 - 18)
D) ADULT Float (age 19 and over)
E) PRIVATE Float (mixed age groups)
G) WALKING TABLEAUX - ADULTS (Groups of 3 or more)
H) WALKING TABLEAUX - CHILDREN (Groups of 3 or more up to age 16)
The Procession Entry Form (see download link below) contains Terms and Conditions for entering the procession, together with all necessary contact details.
Completed forms must be returned by 1st May 2020.
