Lewis-Manning Hospice Care is a registered charity helping and caring for people who have been diagnosed with life-limiting illnesses. We deliver care for patients and their families in Poole, Purbeck, East Dorset and parts of West Hampshire.
Our services include Day Hospice at our facility in Poole, Hospice at Home, Bereavement & Family Support, Breathlessness Services, Lymphoedema Clinics, Creative Arts & Wellbeing and Complementary Therapies.
These services are provided at no cost to the patient, or their families so support from the local community is vital to the running of Lewis-Manning Hospice Care. The number of elderly people in Dorset is constantly growing, making our palliative services even more crucial to allow people to have the care they deserve at the end of their lives. Last year we cared for over 1200 people, thanks to the funds raised through fundraising and donations.
With each patient’s safety and wellbeing is at the forefront of all the care we provide, we want our patients to enjoy their lives right up until their last moments, by having fun, laughing, and still being able to be themselves.
