Become a Sponsor
Sponsorship provides a unique opportunity to promote your business or organisation to local residents whilst also supporting the good causes the Carnival donates to. There are 4 levels of sponsorship (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum) with clearly-defined costs and benefits for the sponsor.
On one level sponsors can make cash donations which help us fund the numerous Carnival activities which in turn attract vendors and visitors who spend their money - thus contributing to our overall income and the residue funds that the Carnival then donates to our supported good causes (see “Who we Support”).
Other sponsors provide us with the important materials and resources that help us to plan and accomplish our goals, for the Carnival itself as well as all of the other activities around the Carnival. These include but are not limited to floats and cars for the Carnival procession, logistics equipment for the Carnival events ground and main prizes for the Carnival raffle.
In 2024, between 4,500 and 5,000 people attended the carnival. In the past decade we have donated over £80,000 to good causes, we couldn't have done this without the support of our sponsors.
Please see our Sponsors page for details of how to apply.
Take Part in the Carnival Procession
No carnival is complete without its procession. Schools and groups are invited to participate through a range of entry levels covering children of all ages, adults, organisations, and trade groups either travelling through Corfe Mullen’s streets on floats or walking.
See the Carnival Day - Street Procession page, where you can download the Procession Entry Form and other details. The Entry Form specifies how to complete and submit your application.
Book a Stall at the Events Ground on Carnival Day
Whether promoting your business, organisation, or charity, or by taking the opportunity for productive trading, booking a stall at the Event Ground on Carnival Day brings numerous benefits. The Carnival Event Ground attracts many thousands of local folks as well as visitors from further afield with after-procession activities and entertainers performing on the Events Ground Stage. For this year’s Carnival the Carnival Events page details the main attractions and includes links to the Stall Booking Form which gives details of costs, T&Cs, and other requirements. It is strongly recommended that you contact our Stall Bookings Coordinator (details are in the form) to agree your precise requirements before submitting your Booking Form.
Enter the 5 km or Junior 1 Mile Fun Run

Held at Corfe Mullen Recreation Ground a few days after the main carnival (this year on Tuesday 17th June), this important evening event has raised over £20,000 for local good causes since its introduction in 2004. Whether a running club member or an enthusiastic individual runner, all abilities are welcome. You can apply and find out more information by reading the Carnival 5km and Junior 1-mile Fun Run page. The Entry Form contains instructions for completing and submitting your application. There is also more information on the dedicated Carnival 5km and Junior 1-mile Fun Run page - http://www.cm5k.co.uk/
Volunteering: Road and Carnival Ground Event Stewarding and more
Whilst we may only have a small committee and a dedicated team of regular helpers organising the Carnival and other events, the number of people required to help on Carnival day swells to more than 60, with volunteers giving just a couple of hours of their time to help ensure that the event runs to plan. You will be guided by our own crew and given full instructions and assistance. We need help setting up and breaking down the event ground for the Carnival and the Fun Run, help with stewarding roads for the Carnival Procession, helping to deliver programmes in the weeks leading up to the Carnival.... and many other tasks.
If you feel that you would like to put a little something back into the community and would like to play a part in supporting the Carnival, however small, please contact us.
