The Corfe Mullen Carnival has seven key objectives:

1. To organise a series of events that enable the community of Corfe Mullen and the surrounding area to meet together and enjoy a variety of fun and entertaining activities.
2. To ensure that the various events are delivered professionally, responsibly, safely and with no negative environmental impact.
3. To provide the opportunity for adult and youth groups to promote and raise awareness of their good work to the wider community.
4. To raise funds for local organisations that offer benefit to the Corfe Mullen Community.
5. To create opportunity for local businesses to support and benefit from Carnival activities.
6. To increase the feeling of community spirit, inclusion and good will amongst the residents of Corfe Mullen.
7. To maintain the values, enthusiasm and commitment shown by the founder of the Carnival in 1966.
